WIC Nutritionist

The WIC Nutritionist works onsite in Rochester, NY. Pay is $22.52–$28.00 per hour. The role supports Jordan Health’s WIC clinic, helping families access services through a community health organization serving Rochester and Canandaigua. The nutritionist provides staffing coverage for vacations and completes WIC eligibility work and participant appointments. The role helps eligible families continue receiving services, supports health outcomes and breastfeeding goals, and contributes to efficient clinic flow.

What you'll do

• Enroll eligible families and continue WIC services at appointments
• support improved health outcomes and WIC caseload
• work with the Breastfeeding Coordinator to support breastfeeding rates
• maintain nutrition and breastfeeding knowledge through 12 annual continuing education credits
• assist with daily clinic flow and staff duties.

Why this role
