BOWA’s finance team supports the company’s employee-owned structure, including its ESOP accounting and financial transparency. The Controller leads the accounting function and finance team, overseeing close, reporting, billing, controls, and financial processes. The role partners with the President and CFO and division leaders to provide reliable financial information, support ESOP and audit needs, and strengthen finance operations as the business scales.

What you'll do

• Manage the Finance Department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payroll
• own month-end close and financial reporting
• oversee work-in-progress schedules, billing analysis, and revenue recognition
• ensure accurate and timely client billing and monitor receivables and cash flow
• maintain Sage 300 CRE workflows and improve systems and controls
• partner with division leaders on job costing, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
• support ESOP accounting, audits, tax, year-end processes, and CFO analysis
• supervise, hire, and develop the finance team.
