Commercial Construction Superintendent

The Commercial Construction Superintendent role is an onsite, full-time position based in Birmingham, AL, with travel to project sites across the Southeast. The stated salary range is $90,000–$120,000 per year. The superintendent will work on primarily large-scale multifamily construction projects. What you'll do

• Ensure projects are completed on time and under budget
• initiate safety protocols and ensure OSHA and other applicable standards are observed
• understand project scope and intent
• provide leadership and on-the-job training opportunities
• ensure building codes and regulations are met
• perform preconstruction responsibilities
• serve as the onsite contact for owners, consultants, subcontractors, and inspection agencies
• manage subcontractor work, submittals, punch-list items, schedules, and safety audits
• coordinate with project management on budgets and site impacts.
