• Prepare and cook food for residents, guests, and employees
• follow menus, standard recipes, portion guidelines, and garnishing instructions
• ensure adequate preparation and food freshness
• communicate shortages
• maintain food rotation
• clean and inspect kitchen equipment and work areas
• assist kitchen staff
• support resident rights and safety.
