Job overview

The Data Analyst role is fully onsite in the Greater Denver, CO area, with pay of $40–$45 per hour. This part-time, project-based position supports a governmental client; remote work and relocation assistance are not available. Above The Rest Staffing provides recruiter support during the assignment. The analyst works with municipal department teams to understand reporting needs, map legacy databases, and turn static reports into interactive Power BI dashboards. The work supports data-informed decisions through accurate extraction, validation, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Partner with department heads to translate reporting needs into database specifications
• map legacy database tables
• build Power BI dashboards
• write SQL queries to extract and clean data
• validate reports against source systems
• document workflows for internal users.
