The Daycare Teacher — Toddler/2-Year-Old Classroom role is onsite in Ashburn, VA. Pay starts at $19 per hour based on experience, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. The role supports young learners’ development in The Learning Experience’s toddler classroom. The teacher provides a safe, nurturing, engaging environment and implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on learning activities. The role also supports children’s communication, independence, social development, and daily routines while observing progress and partnering with families, fellow teachers, and center leadership.

What you'll do

• Provide a safe, nurturing, engaging classroom
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• lead art, sensory play, music, movement, language, and early learning activities
• encourage communication, independence, self-help skills, and positive social interactions
• support diapering, toileting, meals, and rest time
• observe developmental milestones
• communicate with families
• collaborate with teachers and center leadership
• maintain an organized classroom
• follow Virginia licensing and center requirements.
