What you'll do

• Lead technical engineering for turbomachinery design
• understand customer needs and develop concepts
• perform calculations and analyses involving heat transfer, structural and rotating-component stress, aerodynamics, cycle analysis, and component sizing
• plan and lead projects to meet technical, schedule, and budget requirements
• conduct design reviews, development testing, and hardware qualification
• direct and review engineers’ and designers’ work
• maintain project budgets, schedules, and customer deliverables
• coordinate with manufacturing and technicians and support procurement.
