Capability Development Liaison Officer

Job overview

The Capability Development Liaison Officer role is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA, co-located with the customer in government office space. The stated estimated salary range is $140,000–$155,000 per year. The position supports Project Manager Expeditionary Energy & Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2). The liaison integrates capability development with Army requirements-development processes, coordinating information and analysis to help the program office address operational needs and improve program outcomes. The role also works with customers and external stakeholders and prepares briefings and documentation for senior personnel.

What you'll do

• Identify and facilitate resolution of operational issues
• liaise between technical and functional areas and external stakeholders
• gather customer information and analyze user requirements
• monitor relevant technologies
• support program planning and monitoring as needed
• prepare presentations, reports, and written reviews for senior personnel
• provide operations research support, including management analysis, cost analysis, and modeling
• recommend process and equipment-use improvements.
