Physician – Primary Care and Street Medicine

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, including acute, chronic, and preventive care
• diagnose and manage complex conditions
• perform physical exams and diagnostic testing
• prescribe medications and referrals
• provide preventive care and patient education
• coordinate with behavioral health, care coordination, and outreach staff
• document encounters and support compliance, quality improvement, and program activities. Care in streets, shelters, or mobile units may be required as applicable.

Why this role

Requires an MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another primary care discipline, a Texas medical license, DEA license, and current BLS certification. Experience with FQHCs, street medicine, MAT, HIV care, or integrated behavioral health is preferred.
