Sanitation Lead

The Sanitation Lead role is onsite in Smyrna, GA, with a Monday–Friday overnight schedule of 9:30 PM–6:00 AM and occasional Saturdays; pay is $24–$28 per hour. Dessert Holdings operates a collection of premium dessert companies and brands, including manufacturing facilities. The role leads sanitation work across the facility to keep production areas, equipment, offices, and grounds clean and compliant, while coordinating with production and supporting audits and corrective actions.

What you'll do

• Lead and support the sanitation team in cleaning and sanitizing production areas and equipment on schedule
• train team members on sanitation procedures, SSOPs, GMPs, and safety
• monitor performance and attendance
• ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals
• inspect sanitation work and identify corrective actions
• coordinate with production and other departments
• support GFSI/SQF audits
• maintain sanitation records, inspection reports, KPIs, and audit documentation
• monitor cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory
• maintain a clean, safe, compliant manufacturing environment.

Why this role
