The Aviation Construction Engineer / Manager, Airfield Infrastructure role is onsite in Bloomington, MN, with frequent travel to airport construction sites in Minnesota and across the country. Starting base pay is $73,600–$81,800 per year. The role supports TKDA’s Aviation team and its airport infrastructure projects. This position oversees field construction activities and engineering coordination to help ensure airport projects meet plans, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and budgets. It also contributes to project planning and constructability reviews when working in the office.

What you'll do

• Oversee airport construction operations and verify work against plans and specifications
• coordinate with contractors and airport or airline representatives
• attend project meetings
• provide technical and safety representation
• prepare status reports
• negotiate change orders
• coordinate material testing
• conduct surveys and measure quantities
• document site observations
• guide inspectors
• assist with proposals, budgets, schedules, and constructability reviews.
