Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst

The Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst role is hybrid in Reston, VA, with up to four days per week in the office. Compensation is $155,000–$185,000 per year. FS-ISAC supports the security and resilience of the global financial sector through intelligence sharing and collaboration. The analyst leads complex cyber threat investigations and produces actionable intelligence for members, leadership, and partners. The role translates technical and geopolitical developments into strategic risk insights, advances information sharing, and mentors junior analysts.

What you'll do

• Lead investigations of cyber threat actors, ransomware, nation-state activity, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats
• collect and analyze technical and non-technical intelligence
• produce tactical, operational, and strategic assessments
• map adversary tactics to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• assess incidents and systemic risks affecting finance
• author reports, alerts, white papers, and briefings
• present findings and recommendations
• lead information-sharing initiatives and member engagement
• build partner relationships
• represent the organization at industry events
• use AI to enhance analysis
• improve methodologies and workflows
• mentor junior analysts.
