What you'll do

• Provide senior technical direction for archaeological investigations and Section 106 compliance
• establish technical standards, field protocols, and QA/QC practices
• review technical reports, eligibility determinations, and National Register nominations
• resolve complex cultural resources issues
• interpret historic preservation and environmental requirements
• lead engagement with agencies, tribal nations, and other stakeholders
• support regulatory negotiations and tribal consultation
• coordinate work across engineering, environmental, planning, and GIS teams
• advise clients
• represent Verdantas at meetings and hearings
• support technical strategy and client development
• mentor professionals and contribute to recruiting, training, and succession planning.
