Entry-Level Machinist / Machine Operator II — Evening Shift

The Entry-Level Machinist / Machine Operator II role is onsite in Tulsa, OK, with pay of $20 per hour plus a $2 shift differential. The listed hours are 4:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.; the standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, with possible Friday and Saturday work based on customer demand. The machinist operates machine tools to fabricate metal or plastic components and performs about half of the setup independently. The role contributes to production quality by working from blueprints and instructions, setting up machines, inspecting parts, and supporting safety and process-improvement initiatives.

What you'll do

• Operate machine tools to produce parts from metal and plastic raw materials
• shape and thread parts to blueprint and instruction specifications
• perform machine-shop calculations
• complete job order forms
• plan and lay out work from blueprints, manuals, sketches, and oral instructions
• set up machines
• inspect parts against specifications
• support quality, safety, Lean, and process-improvement initiatives
• maintain an orderly work area.
