The Swim Instructor role is part-time and onsite in Ashland, KY, with pay of $8–$26.25 per hour. The instructor joins the Ashland Area YMCA aquatics team, teaching children and adults to build swimming skills and confidence in the water. The role exists to deliver safe, engaging lessons and help swimmers become safer and more confident. Instructors follow the YMCA curriculum, encourage learners, and maintain a safe, welcoming pool environment as part of the aquatics team.

What you'll do

• Teach swim lessons to children and adults
• follow the YMCA swim lesson curriculum
• plan and organize lessons
• encourage swimmers
• communicate with swimmers and parents
• maintain a clean, safe, welcoming pool environment
• follow safety policies and procedures
• participate in required training and staff drills.
