Staff Accountant / Payroll Specialist

What you'll do

• Own assigned balance-sheet and bank reconciliations
• reconcile prepaid expenses, customer deposits, intercompany accounts, and information across systems
• prepare and post journal entries
• assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• support accounts payable and receivable as needed
• process regular and special payrolls
• review time records and payroll reports
• reconcile payroll registers and liabilities
• coordinate payroll changes with HR
• prepare quarterly and year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s
• respond to employee payroll questions
• maintain confidentiality and internal controls.
