Afternoon Maintenance Technician

The Afternoon Maintenance Technician works onsite at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School locations in Cambridge, MA, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; hours may shift to daytime when school is not in session. Pay is $30–$36 per hour. The school serves students from Pre-K through grade 12. The technician maintains and repairs campus buildings and equipment, completing work orders and supporting safe, functional facilities and campus events across the school’s locations.

What you'll do

• Repair and maintain buildings and structures
• perform minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance
• handle painting, carpentry, and related repairs
• transport materials and equipment
• support trash, recycling, snow removal, and event setup
• follow safety guidelines.
