Water Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Water Restoration Technician role is onsite in Tacoma, WA, with local and out-of-state travel when necessary. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour. The technician responds to customer needs for water and fire restoration jobs, completing drying, demolition, and other restoration activities. The role carries out restoration work according to work orders and crew chief instructions, preparing job areas and equipment and maintaining clean, orderly vehicles and sites. The technician supports project quality through communication with the crew chief and other technicians.

What you'll do

• Perform production and restoration processes per work orders and crew chief instructions
• inventory and load vehicles with project equipment, products, and supplies
• maintain clean and organized vehicles and equipment
• prepare rooms and areas for work
• leave job sites clean and orderly
• communicate with the crew chief and other technicians
• travel locally and out of state when necessary.

Why this role

Requires IICRC certification, cleaning and restoration experience, commercial property experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. A $500 bonus is offered after the first three months of employment. The role includes physical work such as lifting at least 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
