This role manages a team and serves as a Supervisor and Engineering Lead on high voltage electric transmission line design projects. This position involves managing direct reports, client relations, proposal development, scope creation, and project management for transmission line design projects.

What you'll do

• Managing a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission.
• Serving as a Supervisor and Engineering Lead on high voltage electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems.
• Assisting the team, as well as independently performing: engineering analyses, preparing bidding documents, plans, and specifications, and preparing material procurement and construction documents.
• Working alongside project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management.
• Developing an engineering team with direct report responsibilities.
• Managing client relations, proposal development, scope creation, and project management.
• Conveying clear expectations, goals, and vision.
• Managing the performance of direct reports.
• Motivating, coaching, and mentoring skilled professionals and delegating project work.
• Capable to manage collaboration and conflict resolution to achieve successful results.
• Practicing behaviors supporting diversity and inclusion.
• Displaying good business acumen and an understanding of project performance metrics.
• Identifying potential risks and opportunities to add value.

What we're looking for
