Machine Operator

Job overview

The Machine Operator role is onsite in Katy, TX. Compensation is $21–$28 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday through Thursday or Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, typically 40 hours per week; it may increase to 12-hour days or occasionally shift to eight-hour days based on production and business needs. The role supports production of bits for downhole drilling. The operator performs hands-on production and equipment work to help deliver products safely and efficiently. Cross-training, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement activities support reliable production and service delivery.

What you'll do

• Perform cutting, finishing, and assembly
• use hand tools and production equipment
• rotate through manufacturing activities as part of cross-training
• participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings
• plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated role
• maintain and operate equipment according to procedures
• report problems or deviations
• identify process improvements
• participate in relevant failure investigations
• follow health, safety, and environmental principles.
