Job overview

The Registered Diet Technician works onsite in Fairmont, WV. Pay is $30 per hour. The role supports residents in long-term care facilities under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian, contributing to their nutrition and overall health. The technician helps tailor nutrition plans to residents’ dietary needs and supports accurate meal service and documentation. The role also guides food service staff on portioning and nutrition practices while following food safety, sanitation, and therapeutic diet guidelines.

What you'll do

• Assist with developing and implementing nutrition plans
• monitor meal service and dietary-order compliance
• maintain records of dietary adjustments and nutritional documentation
• guide and train food service staff on portioning and nutrition practices
• follow food safety, sanitation, and therapeutic diet guidelines
• interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
