What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians during surgery, including preparation, patient monitoring, and recovery
• prepare and maintain surgical instruments
• administer anesthesia and monitor vital signs
• maintain surgical-suite cleanliness and sterility
• keep medical records
• provide post-operative care
• conduct pre-operative assessments, obtain histories, and educate clients about postoperative care and follow-up.
