Chief Medical Officer

The Chief Medical Officer role is full-time and based onsite at Central Ohio Primary Care’s central business office in Westerville, OH; compensation is not specified. COPC is an independent, physician-led primary care organization with more than 80 sites, approximately 450 physicians, and 150 advanced practice providers. As COPC’s senior clinical leader, the CMO sets clinical strategy and guides quality, care redesign, population health, physician leadership, and wellbeing. The role partners with the CEO and operational, administrative, and quality leaders to improve care delivery across the organization.

What you'll do

• Contribute clinical leadership to organizational strategy
• lead care redesign and systems for measuring resource use and outcomes
• develop and improve patient-focused protocols and policies
• build population health capabilities
• set and review quality and expense targets
• lead and support medical directors
• address physician wellbeing and performance
• participate in governance and committees
• represent COPC in external and community matters.
