Center-Based ABA Therapist

Job overview

The Center-Based ABA Therapist role is onsite in Forked River, NJ; pay is $22–$32 per hour. One Step Forward provides center-based one-on-one support for children with autism, with BCBAs and clinical staff available at the center. The therapist implements individualized ABA programs and collects session data to help children develop communication, social, play, independence, and daily-living skills while following behavior intervention plans.

What you'll do

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized programs developed and supervised by a BCBA
• implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs
• use evidence-based reinforcement and prompting
• collect data and complete electronic session documentation
• communicate with the supervising BCBA
• help children practice skills during center routines and activities.
