Inspector/Packer, First Shift, Monday–Friday 7am–3pm

The Inspector/Packer role is onsite in Greenwood, SC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Compensation is $18 per hour. Greenwood Fabricating & Plating is a fabrication, machining, and electroplating job shop serving manufacturers. Working with the Kitting Cell and Quality team, the inspector/packer checks completed parts and packs them to customer specifications. Accurate inspection, documentation, and packaging help ensure products are shipped safely and correctly.

What you'll do

• Inspect and pack parts to customer specifications
• measure, weigh, and evaluate products and packaging
• prepare crates and boxes, apply labels, and stack packages on pallets
• inspect parts and markings
• use pack-out diagrams and checklists
• document weights and inspections
• operate a skin-packing machine
• maintain remake lists
• follow safety guidelines.
