What you'll do

• Read layouts and plan fabrication steps
• measure, mark, cut, and shape metal
• operate press brakes, shears, rolls, drill presses, and flame cutters
• grind, bend, fit, and align metal parts
• weld components into assemblies
• build templates and fixtures
• inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• work with sheet metal and structural components.
