Together, the roles help provide residents with meals and support the facility’s food-service operations.

What you'll do

• Cook: prepare food using standardized recipes
• portion and serve meals or prepare them for delivery
• check food quality and temperature
• clean the kitchen and handle excess food safely. Dietary Worker: prepare or assist with meals, beverages, and snacks
• deliver trays and carts
• assemble meal trays
• work in the dish room and pot sink
• clean work areas and dispose of trash and recyclables.
