The Machine Operator — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with compensation of $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m.–1:00 a.m., in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse facility. The operator supports metal pipe production by operating fabrication equipment, assembling and inspecting pipes, and following safety and production requirements. The role also assists with material movement and may be trained in MIG welding and sit-down forklift operation.

What you'll do

• Operate manufacturing and fabrication equipment to groove, prepare, and assemble metal pipes
• inspect pipes for defects and report quality concerns
• lift, move, and assemble piping
• perform MIG welding with manual and machine-operated equipment
• assist with production duties
• operate a sit-down forklift as needed
• follow safety procedures and keep the work area organized.
