Vice President, Program Design and Impact

The Vice President, Program Design and Impact role is based onsite at HIAS headquarters in Silver Spring, MD, or its New York, NY office; remote work may be considered for eligible applicants outside commuting distance who live in a state where HIAS is registered. The salary range is $140,323–$160,000 per year. The role leads HIAS’s global program quality, technical excellence, evidence, learning, and impact agenda.

What you'll do

• Direct global program design, technical excellence, and program quality strategy
• set standards for evidence-based practice, protection mainstreaming, and safe and accountable programming
• advise senior leadership on priorities, risks, and investments
• oversee monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, research, and program data management
• develop frameworks, systems, tools, and governance approaches
• ensure evidence informs strategy, adaptation, resource allocation, and learning
• lead evaluations and research
• collaborate on strategic growth and funding proposals
• represent HIAS with donors, peer agencies, governments, research institutions, and partners
• manage and develop a team of five
• coordinate across departments
• manage departmental budgets and resources.
