Transport Driver III – Asphalt Tanker

Job overview

The Transport Driver III role is onsite in Tampa, FL; compensation is not specified. The driver reports to the terminal or transportation manager and supports safe, timely delivery of asphalt products to customers. The role exists to transport products efficiently while meeting applicable transportation and safety requirements. It includes operating a tanker tractor-trailer, loading and unloading, documenting weights and deliveries, inspecting and maintaining the truck, and communicating with terminal staff and customers.

What you'll do

• Drive a tanker tractor-trailer to transport and deliver asphalt products
• operate loading and unloading equipment
• position the truck at loading racks and customer sites
• document weights, quantities, and deliveries
• follow federal and state driving regulations and maintain driver logs
• inspect the truck before and after trips
• refuel and check fluids
• maintain the truck interior.
