Job overview

The Construction Equipment Service Technician role is onsite in Canal Winchester, OH, with compensation of $27–$45 per hour. The position supports Buckeye Power Sales’ Power & Construction Equipment division, which serves customers with construction equipment and rental solutions. The technician maintains and repairs construction and rental equipment so it remains safe, reliable, and available for customers. Inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs help reduce equipment downtime and support the division’s service operations.

What you'll do

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair construction and rental equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service
• troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems
• service skid steers, lifts, and other construction equipment
• prepare rental equipment for customer use
• inspect returned equipment and identify maintenance or repairs
• complete shop and field-service work as assigned
• use diagnostic tools and technical information
• document service and repairs
• communicate equipment condition and repair needs
• follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment.
