What you'll do

• Assist the scrap basket shift leader and group leader with daily operations
• cover shift leader duties as needed after checklists are complete
• direct basket loading using HMI charge model calculations
• communicate with crane operators, heavy operators, and onsite contractors
• operate scales and the alloy system
• enter charge-sheet data into Level 2
• look up schedules in AS400
• assign chutes for EAF material
• perform shift scale checks and maintenance inspections
• follow safety procedures and work with maintenance during breakdowns.
