The Hybrid Field Interviewer opportunity is hybrid and statewide in Oregon, with interviews conducted by video or in person according to participant preference. Compensation is paid per completed survey: $80 per phone interview, $85 per video interview, and $95 or more per in-person interview depending on travel distance. Vital Research’s project with the State of Oregon gathers feedback from people receiving state-supported services to inform service delivery. The role exists to collect confidential survey data for social research and evaluation. Interviewers contact assigned participants, conduct and accurately record surveys using company-provided technology and established protocols, and communicate respectfully while meeting project expectations. The contract term is December 7, 2026 through May 30, 2027, or until interviews are completed, with a minimum expectation of five completed surveys per week.

What you'll do

• Contact participants from a provided list to schedule and complete surveys
• complete an average of one survey per day or five per week
• conduct surveys using company-provided technology and established protocols
• accurately record responses and maintain confidentiality
• communicate respectfully and with cultural sensitivity
• coordinate with the research team
• use translation services when needed
• manage schedule and meet project expectations.
