What you'll do

• Monitor orchards for insects, weeds, nutrition deficiencies, and disease
• prepare crop-protection recommendations and schedules using software
• coordinate nutrient and crop-protection applications
• track quantities of materials applied
• order materials with Procurement
• forecast and budget for the future crop year
• monitor field conditions and crop phenology
• attend weekly ranch meetings and provide updates.

Why this role

Requires the education and/or experience needed to obtain a PCA license, at least one year of agricultural work experience, and a valid California driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Qualified Applicator, CCA, and CNMP credentials are preferred; Spanish-English bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
