Prep Cook — Part-Time

Job overview

The Prep Cook role is onsite at Meyerson, 2301 Flora Street, Dallas, TX. The schedule is Thursday–Saturday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, and Sunday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Pay is $19–$22 per hour. Culinaire provides food and beverage management services for cultural venues and other client settings. The Prep Cook prepares food to production requirements and serves customers while following recipes, portion standards, and food-safety procedures. The role supports consistent food quality and service across kitchen and customer-facing stations.

What you'll do

• Obtain production schedules and preparation requirements from the Chef
• prepare items according to production sheets and recipes
• complete production and waste logs
• taste meals for quality
• operate and clean equipment
• store, label, and date food
• follow HACCP and sanitation requirements
• take customer orders, serve at stations, and address customer concerns.
