What you'll do

• Review menus and gather ingredients
• follow recipes and production sheets
• evaluate preparation and recommend operational improvements
• follow kitchen opening and closing, sanitation, and safety procedures
• assist with training food-service personnel
• report maintenance needs
• meet tray-line, cafeteria, and catering deadlines
• prepare and present food
• weigh and measure ingredients
• document supply movement
• rotate inventory
• and maintain safe food storage and clean equipment.
