What you'll do

• Identify and respond to customer needs
• process check cashing, money transfers, bill payments, and prepaid product sales
• open preferred customer accounts and issue cards
• update customer account information
• answer inquiries about accounts and services
• promote services
• perform check verification
• sell money orders, postage stamps, and MetroCards
• follow cash-handling and security procedures
• maintain store cleanliness
• open and close cash drawers and reconcile transactions
• float to nearby stores as required.
