Cost Accounting Manager

The manager leads costing strategy and execution, strengthens standard costing and inventory controls, and provides reliable cost and variance insights for business decisions. The role also develops the cost accounting team and drives process improvements across global operations.

What you'll do

• Develop global costing strategies and governance standards
• maintain Oracle costing and inventory accounting setups and transaction integrity
• manage global standard cost updates and standard labor and overhead rates
• review material costs and budgets
• lead variance analysis and corrective actions
• oversee inventory financial reviews, month-end close responsibilities, reconciliations, and audit requests
• lead continuous improvement of costing systems, processes, controls, and reporting
• coach and develop the cost accounting team.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 10+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, WIP, intercompany, and U.S. GAAP. Oracle E-Business Suite and Insight experience are preferred; CMA is preferred but not required. IMMI is an ESOP company.
