The Overnight Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Pompton Lakes, NJ, in a group home. The stated pay is $20.49 per hour Monday–Friday and $21.49 per hour for shifts beginning Friday at 11:00 p.m. through Sunday at 11:00 p.m.; non-work time is paid at the base rate. The Department for Persons with Disabilities provides care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role supports residents’ health, safety, and welfare through direct assistance, daily living support, medication assistance, documentation, and community activities.

What you'll do

• Assist or supervise residents with personal care, including bathing and toileting
• participate in or supervise cleaning, cooking, and life skills
• administer or assist with medication
• communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and residents
• drive residents to and from day programs and within the community using agency vehicles
• document services daily
• assist with community-based activities.
