The Equipment Operator / Driver I is an onsite role based in Disputanta, VA. Compensation is not specified. This role supports the industrial cleaning and environmental services team at Thompson Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, which provides industrial solutions across North America. The role exists to ensure the safe and proper execution of industrial cleaning jobs, including forklift operation and labor-intensive tasks, at client sites. The operator will supervise single-task crews, perform equipment maintenance, and transport personnel and equipment while adhering to strict safety and DOT regulations.

What you'll do

• Promote Thompson-Industrial’s safety, environmental and operations policies.
• Operates Forklift.
• Completes daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operated.
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
• Timely and accurate completion and review of paperwork documenting work functions.
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner/exhibit excellent communication/human relation skills.
• Additional duties as assigned.
