The Refueler SkillBridge Intern is an onsite role based in Newport News, VA, with no specified salary as it is an unpaid internship. This role exists to provide transitioning military personnel with real-world experience in the fueling, defueling, and handling of nuclear fuel for Naval nuclear reactors. The intern will train on meaningful projects under the guidance of senior leadership to prepare for a potential full-time career at Newport News Shipbuilding.

What you'll do

• Train on fueling, defueling, and handling of nuclear fuel
• follow NNPI/CUI handling procedures
• maintain safety certifications
• participate in pre-task briefings and post-task inspections
• work under mentor guidance.
