The Salary On-Call Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) plays a vital role in the surgical team by ensuring the operating room is prepared and sterile, assisting during procedures, and supporting urgent and emergent cases during on-call hours.

What you'll do

• Prepares surgical set-up for procedures
• observes and anticipates the needs of the surgeon during the procedure
• functions within a sterile field
• Functions as a surgical assistant. Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program and a minimum of two years work experience within an operating room setting required. Credentialed as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required and must be maintained. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
