What you'll do

  • Provide individual and group counseling
  • supervise daily routines and recreational activities
  • teach socially acceptable behavior and adaptive skills
  • support school attendance
  • implement crisis intervention
  • maintain records and treatment summaries
  • coordinate treatment plans with coworkers and supervisors
  • enforce security procedures and intervene in altercations
  • observe youth needs
  • transport youth to appointments and activities
  • admit youth and explain facility rules
  • provide CPR and first aid as needed.
