Utility Designer 1 — Distribution Design (Hybrid)

The role exists to plan, design, verify, inspect, and document utility and telecommunications assets. It contributes to infrastructure design by analyzing field data, recording existing assets, identifying hazards, and collaborating on design solutions.

What you'll do

• Use software platforms to analyze and interpret field data
• record existing telecommunications and electric utility pole infrastructure
• identify and document safety risks and hazards
• apply engineering principles to design aerial and underground utility facilities
• transfer designs between software platforms
• collaborate on infrastructure design solutions
• maintain equipment and report issues promptly.
