What you'll do

• Assess residents’ abilities and interests
• develop individualized activity programs
• complete MDS and RAPS documentation
• document resident responses and evaluate activity care plans
• manage an activity budget
• use activity approaches such as music, pet, and aromatherapy
• assist with evaluating interventions
• develop varied activity tracks
• arrange speakers and off-site trips when appropriate
• organize calendars
• support resident and family councils
• maintain volunteer efforts
• supervise Activity Assistants.
