Panel Technician III

Job overview

The Panel Technician III role is onsite in Louisville, KY, and pays $20–$27 per hour. The technician works in qubeworX’s UL508A-certified panel fabrication and wiring facility and reports to the Panel Shop Supervisor. The role assembles electrical control panels by interpreting layouts and drawings, mounting components, and wiring systems. It supports panel production by maintaining accurate fabrication changes, meeting company and UL standards, and assisting junior panel builders.

What you'll do

• Assemble electrical control panels
• interpret layouts and electrical drawings
• mount components and wire panels
• maintain red-line drawing markups and communicate changes for revision
• route, bundle, label, and terminate wires
• perform point-to-point wiring
• select appropriate tools and methods
• maintain consumable inventory
• follow safety standards and wear applicable PPE.
