• Oversee the community’s infection prevention and control program
• incorporate current practice standards into resident care and employee actions
• identify training needs using infection surveillance and process and outcome measures
• develop training plans and materials
• evaluate training effectiveness
• maintain required RN licensure, CPR or BLS certification, and specialized infection prevention training.
