The Ski/Snowboard Inclusion Specialist is an onsite, part-time role in Osseo, MN, supporting lessons at Elm Creek Park. Pay is $19 per hour. Reach for Resources provides recreation and inclusion services to people with disabilities in the Minneapolis western metro area. The role helps children with intellectual or physical disabilities and other behavioral needs participate in skiing and snowboarding lessons. Working alongside parks and recreation staff, the specialist provides individualized assistance and adaptations that support skill development and inclusion in community activities.

What you'll do

• Assist as a coach, program leader, or instructor
• support the child receiving one-to-one assistance and other children
• provide extra instruction, sensory regulation strategies, behavioral support, activity adaptations, personal care assistance as needed, or social facilitation
• communicate with parents and parks and recreation staff
• complete inclusion paperwork.
