What you'll do

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with accepted protocols
• operate ultrasound equipment and maintain quality-control standards
• use knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to identify imaging areas
• communicate with patients and medical staff
• work independently with minimal supervision
• assist with patient positioning and transfers as required.
