What you'll do

• Provide perioperative nursing care for open-heart and cardiovascular procedures
• scrub and circulate during surgeries
• perform preoperative and postoperative assessments
• maintain sterile technique and surgical-field integrity
• prepare and manage instruments and equipment
• collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and operating room staff
• monitor patient safety and respond to changes in condition
• complete accurate documentation
• participate in on-call coverage approximately one day per week and one weekend per month, based on departmental needs.
